Tasting Notes

Clean, crisp and fruity. Comparable to Pinot Gris and/or Gewurztraminer in the sense that the skins of the grapes are lightly purple in coloration. Koshu is a grape native to the Yamanashi region; "Kushu" in fact is the former name for "Yamanashi". Koshu wines are characterized by pale, straw colors and aromatic, fruity tones.
