They have strived to develop new technology while still improving the traditional craftsmanship since establishment in 1893.  Rooted in the local area of the Tsukushi Plain and using local water and produce, the brewery presents a genuine Fukuoka flavor.

The company motto, "Making shochu makes smiles," was born from their desire to bring smiles to the faces of not only the customers who drink shochu, but also to everyone involved with shochu. They believe that tradition means continuing to challenge themselves, and are always striving to make better shochu.
